The combination of ginger and turmeric is a powerful solution to keep you healthy with the change of the seasons, or to pep you up if you are feeling down.

Ingredients:
  • 1.5 cup water
  • 1.5 inch ginger, peeled & grated (or 1 tsp ginger powder)
  • 1.5 inch turmeric, peeled & grated (or 1 tsp turmeric powder)
  • 2 twists black pepper (to activate turmeric)
  • Juice from 1/2 small lemon (about 1 tbsp)
  • 1 tbsp raw honey
Direction: 
  • Combine water, turmeric, ginger, and black pepper in small saucepan.  
  • Simmer for 5 minutes (try not to boil)
  • Strain tea into cup and add lemon and honey

Sanitation is a key to good health, but is it possible to be too clean for your own good?
Antibacterial products have never been so popular. Body soaps, household cleaners, sponges, toothpastes, cutting boards, even mattresses and lip glosses are now packing bacteria-killing ingredients.  

Its tough to go anywhere without seeing hand sanitzer - at the doctors office, at the cash register, in the restroom, by the shopping carts, you might have a bottle in your bag or at your desk.  The idea of needing this product is so pervasive, I have seen it on tables at restaurants.
