Man, like his fellow primates, has always used the squatting position for resting, working and performing bodily functions. Infants of every culture still instinctively squat to relieve themselves, rest, and play. This little guy innately knows the perfect squatting posture.
In addition to being an amazing, whole-body movement, it also lessens many of the health issues associated with elimination.
